Beyond artistic careers, our students will be active members of society. Rooted in the meaning of the Ankh symbol – “The Breath Of Life” – Ankh Academy of the Arts, embraces the diversity of our student population through the Culturally Relevant Arts Education (C.R.A.E) framework. We believe every child has the power to become a bridge between cultures, fostering empathy, cultural intelligence, and meaningful connection. Through movement and storytelling, we empower young artists to discover their voice, advocate for justice, and inspire positive change in their communities and beyond.
By combining high-level dance training with the exploration of diverse dance traditions and cultures from around the world, students cultivate empathy, respect, and a deeper appreciation for the rich histories and perspectives of different racial and ethnic communities. We believe these experiences do more than shape exceptional dancers—they develop culturally confident, compassionate leaders who are equipped to inspire meaningful change and make a lasting impact on the world.

Led by our founder, a professional dancer with over 25 years of experience in Ballet, Modern, Opera, and Broadway companies—Now an accomplished Entrepreneur and Choreographer, with a Master’s degree in Dance Education and K–12 teaching certification from New York State.
